We are offering for sale an outstandinghalf dozen set of Georgian silver plates.

These underplates aremade from an extremely thick gauge of silver to give a feeling of very high quality. The plates are round in form with a bold gadroon mount and each one has the same muzzled hound crest engraved to the border of the plate.

These 18th century plates are as good as you will find and are in superb condition with typical knife scratches and a fine patina.

MARKS: Full set of English hallmarks (guaranteeing Sterling 925 standard silver) for London 1791, made by James Young (JY).

CONDITION: Excellent original condition. Neither damage nor repairs. Typical knife scratch marks to surface.
