Here we have an Original Vintage Engraving of \"Maj. Gen. William T. Sherman.U. S. A.\". This is the sought after Engraving. It comes Fresh from an Estate in South Dakota. Writing on the bottom says: \"Entered according to an act of Congress AD 1865 by J. C. Buttre in the clerks office of the District Court of the Southern District of New York. Engraved and published by J. C. Buttre 48 Franklin St. New York. Border designed by W. Momberger. From Anthony\'s photograph.\" Under the Waring parties, it says: \"Struggle For Atlanta.\" It has his Signature: \"W. T. Sherman.\" The Engraving is framed and measures 11,3/4\" x 17\" in the frame. The glass is the Old Original Glass , with bubbles and imperfections. This one is new to the market, as it has rested in the same Family for Generations. Also from this Estate I have a Great 1846 Cavalry Sword (1840 pattern), with a superb blade, which I may sell later.If you are interested, please let me know and I May list it!!!
