Margo Block is a former Chicago artist known for her murals painted in hundreds of Chicago area buildings. Ms. Block (1910 - 1988) had studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the American Academy of Art and for a time worked as a commercial artist. Through the years she painted murals in homes, apartments, offices and hotels, including the Board of Trade Building and Edgewater Beach Hotel. This piece measures 16\" x 20\" and 12\" x 16\" matted and 2/10 edition.
