This iconic C-print by internationally renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino on Fuji crystal archive supergloss paper is of one of his most famous muses, actress Julianne Moore. It was taken in 2008 for Paris Vogue, and was printed in 2010 in a hand signed and numbered limited edition of only 175. It is set in the deeply luxuriant interior of The Crillon Hotel in Paris, an 18th Century masterpiece of neo-classical architecture, renowned for its display of delicate sculpture and extraordinary wood panels. In sheer lingerie but otherwise fully dressed with a belt, shoes, elegant stole, and bedecked with jewellery, Moore looks caught in a moment of intimacy. Testino\'s photograph highlights the raven haired actress\'s beauty and sensuality along with the opulence of her surroundings. Julianne Moore at The Crillon Hotel Paris (2008) is a classic Testino masterpiece: the photographer often sets up lavish, highly staged Environments and captures arresting and magical images of his subjects in off-guard moments. Testino was the subject of the 2001 exhibition \"Mario Testino: Todo o Nado\", at the Fondazione Memmo, held at the 16th Century Palazzi Ruspoli in Rome and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, Madrid. Most recently, he was the subject of a major career retrospective at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Mario Testino was born in Lima, Peru into a family of Irish, Spanish and Italian origins. He attended the American School of Lima and went on to study economics at the Universidad del Pacifico, Law at the Universidad Catolica and International Relations at the University of San Diego, in San Diego, California. From Peru he moved to London and began his formal training in Photography. Mario continues to live in London, but he travels extensively shooting for American, British, French, and Italian Vogue, L\'Uomo Vogue, and Vanity Fair. He has photographed many celebrities including Madonna, Kim Basinger, Liz Hurley, Gwyneth Paltrow, Janet Jackson, Julia Roberts, Meg Ryan, Cameron Diaz, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Diana, Princess of Wales. He has also received special commissions to photograph The Prince of Wales, Prince Harry, and Her Majesty Queen Rania al Abdullah of Jordan. Mario Testino has contributed to the images of leading fashion houses such as: Givenchy, Christian Lacroix, Valentino, Sonia Rykiel, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Paul Smith, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Missoni, Burberry’s and Calvin Klein. He has photographed beauty and fragrance campaigns for Gucci, Clinique, Lancôme, Davidoff, Valentino and Shiseido
