Up for sale is an original herald from the 1932 Paramount film Shanghai Express, starring Marlene Dietrich, Clive Brook, Anna May Wong and directed by Josef von Sternberg. The cover is a stunning art deco image of Dietrich and it is in excellent condition. Please see photos. Promotional items from this film are extremely rare and hard to find in this condition. It measures 4 1/2\" x 6\" closed, and 9\" x 6\" opened. The film was released in the US in 1932, but the copyright printed in the herald says 1931, in preparation for it\'s release. There is no theatre name printed on the back. This is a must have Dietrich image for any Dietrich collector.
