Hello up for sale is a nicepiece of African American History. These pieces came from acollection from a Prominent Member
of the African American Community the Dr & Reverend L.Sylvestor Odom. This Collection includes aone off Photo of
Dr Martin Luther King Jr including oneAutographed by Dr King to Dr Odom in Newark , NJ in 1968 Taken one week before Dr. Kings death.There is a letter from Coretta Scott King to
the Odom family requesting for these photos and documents so that she may include them in a book called \"The King Papers\".Which were never sent.
Dr Odom born Nov 29, 1921 in Florence, Alabama son of Dr. E. Odom, graduate from Morris Brown college and Boston University
Dr Odom held several Pastorates starting in 1946 to 1979 and played major roles withen the A.M.E church. For several years Dr Odom was President of the Western Christian
Leadership Conference and President of N.A.A.C.P. branches in Sacramento and Oakland California during this time he did special fund
raising for Dr King and the civil rights movement. Under President Johnson He served in the office of economic opportunity as special
