HOW I GRADE COMICS

AGE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CONDITION!!!!!

Using my guidelines below and Overstreet\'s Price Guide I grade each lot at the level of the item in the poorest condition. Most of the lot will usually be in much better condition than what is stated. My comic salesstart withextremely low opening offers. Read description and look carefully at the picture. If you have any questions, please ask them before offerding. Thanks.

Near Mint: Nearly perfect. Tiny corner creases or staple stress lines, a few color flecks or bindery tears.

Very Fine: Cover flat. Pages off-white to white. Slight wear beginning to show, but still sharp, bright, and clean.

Fine: Flat and clean with no major creasing or serious defects. Cover inks show significant reduction in reflectivity. Surface wear and smaller defects, especially on spine and edges.

Very Good: Could have center crease or rolled spine. Some discoloration, fading, and minor soiling allowed. Small piece may be missing at the corner or edge. Cover and interior pages can have minor tears and folds and the center page may be loose. Pages may be brown but not brittle. May have minor tape repair.
