This is the second of three (3) ornamental swords that my 91-year old father-in-law owned when he was a Freemason. He recollects that he purchased it in the 1950\'s when he joined the Masonic Lodge and it was used. He dates it to around 1920 although his memory is fading. Double-edged blade that is very sharp and pointed. The black painted handle appears to be made of wood. The sword in its scabard measures 39-3/4\". The scabard measures 32 inches in length. The sword measures approximately 37-3/4\" inches. On one side of the scabard is the name WILLIAM CROCKER. The number 32 is inside the upside-down triangle below the 2-headed eagle (?). There is etching on both sides of the sword and WILLIAM CROCKER is etched on one side. On the reverse side is B. Pasquale Co. San Francisco, Ca.
