Masonic Shriners Past Potentate Gold Pharaoh Sword Claw Pin:
Shriners Yellow Gold, Claws, Victorian 1800s This is wonderful Victorian Shriners jewel with claws. This beautiful jewel features a carved fully 3D pharaohs head carved out of what looks to be some type of red stone. Around this face is an ornate head dress with white enamel and gold on the top with chasing and horizontal white lines on the sides. The claws are capped with gold to protect the points as are the bottoms. The back of the fob has an engraved a pyramid with some sort of an altar. Hanging from the center of the fob is a Scottish Rite 32nd degree eagle charm in engraved detail on the front. The whole pharaoh badge hangs from a silver sword with goldembellishments. This badge measures 1 1/2" wide tall (from the top of the fob, not including the bale, to the bottom of the point and 1 1/2" wide. The sword measures 2 1/4" wide. The bale, claws and jewel are in excellent, original, and wearable condition. Thank you for looking and enjoy! This jewel would make a wonderful gift for a Shriner!
