Medal is a super rare find and after many hours of searching on & the net I couldn\'t find this medal anywhere. First it\'s solid silver weighing exactly 28 grams and the round part is 2\" W. It came from the estate of a 96 year old man who was a high ranking Mason in NYC and he collected many secret society medals and they were all scarce or rare. this is the last piece and as you see the artwork is awesome. Above the arch it has the letters APA and I believe it stands for the American Protective Association. It\'s also full of Masonic symbols like the pentagram,archway,Jacob\'s ladder,Cross,Anchor & snake,Heart,Bible & the All Seeing Eye.
