This is a replica of the sword used by beginning Maximus in Gladiator. The sword is almost an exact replica of the sword used in the film. The sword is a finely detailed polished wooden handle and a guard. The blade of the sword is 440 stainless steel with a blunt tip. The blade has a polished finish. The sheath is leather with a brown wood and begins with a neck sheath made of gold. The rings in the setting of a strong leather belt sheath with laurel leaves and a lion\'s head have worked in the steel industry. The guard of the sword is secure with a wooden-steel liner, the blade into the handle. Printed on the side is SPQR (Rome, in Latin). The guard has a total of three gold accessories of every detail. This model comes with a synthetic leather guard and pommel with cast metal accents, surrounding a unique grooved ivory colored handle that offers a sure grip.
