All headings of suras (chapters)are written in red ink. All verses areseparated by gold small gold discs. Allpages are ruled in two red lines. Thedivisions of the Koran are marked in red script on themargins. The recitational marks areindicated in red throughout.

It was written by the master calligrapheras-Sayyid Waliy ad-Din in the Islamic year 1284, corresponding to the year 1868AD. It is clear that this is an OttomanQur’an.
