Wonderful Megillat Esther low grade silver scroll cover. Has not been tested so could also possibly be plate? Not sure? Used for Purim and the story of Jewish redemption in ancient Persia. Length is 10.5 inches. Width is 1.75 inches. Intricate design. Has a chain attached to the top of the cover. Opens up from the end with the chain. Does not come with the scroll. Persian piece. Probably very scarce. Someone was using it to hold incense on the inside. But they probably did not know it was a Judaica piece. Has an area that was added to engrave a name into it. But no one did. Great condition. Some minor wear. A wonderful addition to any serious Judaica collection.
