Provenance: Japan.
Age: Meiji Period (C.1868 - 1912).
Size: The vase measures 15cm in height (6\" high) X16cm in width.
Artist/signature: Unsigned, as is typical with this type of ware.
Condition: The piece is in good condition considering it\'s age.One handle isslightly bent with some enamel disturbance nearhere itmounts. Small amount of enamel missing inside lining of lid. No further issues.
Comments: A fine and rare Meiji Japanese Kyoto-Jippo WiredCloisonne Koro. The piece is decorated withexquisite overlappingpatterns, including flowers in geometricdesigns. The Koro has twocentralised scenes, one with a Butterfly in amongst lush flowers, the otherdepicting a colourful Ho-o Bird.
