Meiji Japanese Black and Gold Satsuma Dragon Tea Set Approximate Date: Late 19th - Early 20th Century Markings: All pieces are marked, see photosWeight: Heavy, please check postage before offerding or buying Approximate Size: The teapot is 17.5 cm high and 20 cm wide measured from the tip of the spout to the handle - The teacups are 4.5 cm high and 9 cm high - The saucers are 13.5 cm in diameter Condition Report: The tea set is in perfect condition except for that one of the saucers has a very minute chip to the rim. It is exceptionally well painted, each piece has a different scene on it and each cup has a flower painted to the bottom of the bowl. All the pieces are marked on the bases. There is some very minor staining inside the bowls of the cups. Please view photos carefully for overall condition.
