Momme (pronounced “mummy”)is a unit of weight used to measure and describe silk fabrics.The higher the momme, the heavier the fabric. With higher m/m, the fabric is thicker in texture and of higher value due to the higher content of silk per square meter. It is measured by momme weight per square meter. 1m/m=4.3g
