Appears to be new old stock but with scratches and shelf wear from careless handling. This base part is used to tilt the angle of the steering wheel on the dash board. The description from the 1965 parts and accessory catalog reads: \"Use only when 90 degree horizontal mounting is desired\" . Embossed with the Ride Guide lettering. 5\" steering wheel base bracket stud radius. Could be adapted to other wheels and steering systems.
