This is a pristine (actually unused, but I can\'t call it that because I\'m not the original retailer), with all of the pieces still in their original plastic wrappers and boxes. In this Starter Set, not only do you get a beautiful Victorian House, but you also receive two trees, a bench, and two figurines, each with two figures (looks like family out for a walk). Starter Sets are always such a bargain because you always get so much more for your money -- and this one is REALLY NICE. The house is very, very nice, and the figurines are also charming.
All of the Figurines and other pieces for sale are authentic Village Square pieces. I do not see any chips, cracks or scratches on any of them (unless noted), and I do NOT sell items that have been glued back together or repaired in any way, no matter how minute. Except for the very, very early ones (which are smaller), most of the adult Mervyn’s figurines are about 4 inches tall, and the kids tend to be 2-2.5 inches tall
One thing I might point out is that after you pay the Shipping Charge on one item, the Shipping Charge for each subsequent purchase is minimal (as long as they are all packaged and shipped together), so the more you order at once from the same seller, the more you save per-item (The 3rd-5th items add almost nothing to the Shipping Charges). “Free Shipping” on multiple items does you no good at all – That’s why I always add the Shipping Charges separately.)Also, watch out for sellerswhom charge really low prices ontheir items but add exorbitant Shipping Charges.
If you do decide to buy more than one item, you can either pay for everything in advance, and then I will Refund your over-payment as soon as I buy the postage – or, you can put them in a “Shopping Cart” and request a new Invoice, if you would prefer doing it that way. Just let me know when you are offerding on multiple items (although I always try to check myself) and request “Combined Shipping.” I do not charge for packaging or materials. I almost always ship the day after receiving your order (Can’t ship on Sundays).
I am EXTREMELY CAREFUL in packaging these figurines. Each one will be individually wrapped in newspaper and/or bubble wrap, and then there will be an abundance of packaging material between your figurines and also between them and the external box.
