This listing is for a fully functional MINT BATTERY OPERATED CAPTAIN BLUSHWELL BARTENDER w/box as shown. This is not a reproduction toy. It is in excellent-mint condition. Colors are clear & bright. Tin, litho, plastic parts, clothing & hair are as new. He functions as follows: He pours liquid from the bottle into the glass, raises it to his mouth, (liquid travels back into the bottle via a hidden rubber hose), head lights up, eyes spin around a few times, hat on head moves. Very comical. No rust or corrosion anywhere. Works PERFECTLY as it should. No disappointment. A must have conversation piece for your home bar or next party. This is a \"MADE IN JAPAN\" toy listed in Don Hultzman\'s book, COLLECTOR\'S GUIDE TO BATTERY TOYS, copyright 2002, second edition. It is listed on page 42. It is a 1960\'s era toy made by the Y Co. It has a rarity of 3 on a scale to 10 being the rarest, and a value of $180.00 in C-10 condition without the box. The original box is in complete condition although it does have some clear tape repairs. Would make an interesting conversation piece to any restaurant, tavern, pub, bar, brewery, brothel or family rec-room decor.
