The elbows show snags and they are not perfect.
There is an area on one side just under the frame where there are snags as well, and the fringes were probably more even when the bag was made than they are now.The lining is a replacement.The frame opens and shuts with a snap but there is a slight gap where the two halves come together.The lining is a replacement.So, while this purse is stunningly beautiful it is no longer perfect.The frame is stamped Made in Germany and with other hallmarks, some of which I can\'t make out.
The star signifies 800 silver.The frame is lovely but could possibly use more polishing if so desired.
It\'s 7-8 inches wide. Length is about 12.5 inches. The chain handle has a drop of about 7.5 inches.
