I am listing this week a collection of VERY RARE antiques and collectibles!
This is a very cool modernist designed studio art pottery pitcher or creamer. It was manufactured in Denmark Circa 1950-1960. It is a beautiful Smooth Danish Modern design. It is a hand thrown piece of Terracotta type pottery or earthenware. It has a unfinished satin exterior. With beautiful wicker wrapped handle. Great form with flowing lines and lid. Interior is glaze with a beautiful thick glaze. It is signed on the bottom \" Paul 10 Danmark\". Danmark being the Danish name for Denmark. So this was not a piece made for export. Which makes sense since it is a Studio pottery piece. Bought in Denmark and brought back. It is really really beautiful. I would keep it to go with my Danish Eames Era style den as decoration. But I am in need of some funds for an upcoming Disney trip with the kids & wife. LOL! So sadly it must go. I don\'t have a reserve on it. So hopefully it will go respectable. It measures approx. 6-1/2\" by 5-1/2\" by 4-1/4\".
