Absolutely gorgeous Ib Kofod-Larsen designed reclining lounge chair and ottoman for Westnofa Norway in the early 1960\'s. Solid rosewood. Classic Kofod-Larsen angled arms and tapered legs. The chair has a locking mechanism on the side which allows the chair to recline. The ottoman raises to an angle to accomodate the leg angle when reclining. Newly upholstered in a very soft velvet-like black fabric. Minor imperfections in the wood as expected with age. There is a smidge of the original tag left on the frame. This is a beautiful, stunning and comfortable Mid Century designer piece!
