RARE VINTAGE
Danish Modern Teak & Brass Floor Lamp
All original Vintage 1950s Brass& TeakFloor lamp. The wood base, carved wood pole and the wooden collar at the top of the carved wood pole are all carved of the same wood, which we believe to be Teak.
This beautiful and unusualVintage Floor Lamp is built with an unusual 3-Way Pull Chain Switch lamp socket that was produced by The Levolier Electrical Company in the early 1950\'s. Thelamp socket is a dense brown plastic(possibly Bakelite) with a fragment of the yellow UL approval sticker remaining. There are no other identifying marks on this lamp(that we were able to find).
This lamp measures 46\" Tall to the lamp socket, 61 1/2\" Tall to the top of the lamp shade, 11\" in Diameter at the base, 1 3/4\" in Diameter carved wooden pole, 1\" Diameter inner brass pole, 3 3/4\" Diameter wooden collar at the top of the carved wooden pole, 5/8\" Diameter Brass ball at the end of the pull switch chain
The lamp shade is all original in excellent condition and measures 23\" Tall by 13 1/2\" in Diameter.
The cord of this lamp is not polarized.
This vintage lamp is fully functional, is in extremely good condition for it\'s age, and shows very light wear. There are some light scratches visible on the wooden base and some light tarnish on the brass pole above the wood collar(see photos).
