It combines the swept line arc of a Louis Kalff base with a shade
that has the form and sensibility of a lamp by Kaiser Idell. The convergence
of these mid century post Bauhaus design aesthetics creates a lamp
that looks absolutely amazing! The dynamic blue complements the light parchment colored shade magnificently.
The textured surfaces on both the shade and base are uniquely
European and delight the eyes and reward the sense of touch as well.
One pushes the most simple white switch on the base to turn the
lamp on or off. A brass goose neck permits the articulation of the lamp
into an infinite number of positions - placing light right where you want it.It is graceful from every angle!Lamp is in very fine condition. Very light wear to the brass,
enamel and textured surfaces Uses a standard base bulb. Works perfectly.
