Norman Cherner’s Side chair for Plycraft.

Norman Cherner’s work is rooted in Bauhaus tradition and propelled by his passion for affordable, modern industrial design.

His iconic side chairs and armchairs, called the Cherner chair [1958], feature a delicate, inverted triangular \"fan\" back that takes sparse minimalism to graceful new heights.

The chairs are crafted from smooth molded plywood, and were finished in an array of natural wood tones.

Thisside chair versionis in a walnut veneer.

Very, verynice condition with normal minor age-related wear.

Size- 28\" tall x 18\" wide x 20\" deep.
