What a cool mid century plaster/chalkware lamp. The figure looks like a genie with vivid red and green colors. The base is signed Puccini Art Novelty Co. There are several \"nicks\" in the chalkware and one chip in the arm by the basket. Of course this is probably expected in a lamp of this material and of this age. The plug has been wrapped with electrical tape so needs to be rewired for safety. The lamp works but the switch is a bit loose so thatmay need tobe repaired, but is not major. I could not remove the harp and did not want to force it for fear of damage. The lamp figure measures 16 inches from the base to the top of the head. It is a fairly heavy piece wearing approximately 7 pounds. The shade is not original to the lamp. It is one I had stored away and felt it looked good with the lamp. The shade is in good condition with no issues with the fiberglass but the lacing is missing in some places and unwrapping in others.
