Beautiful! Offered is a Mid Century stoneware carafe. Manufactured ca. 1950\'s by Marshall Studios...Veedersburg, Indiana. Designed by the dynamic husband and wife team of Jane and Gordon Martz who met while attending Alfred University. This, like all their work, beautifully handmade and glazed...no two pieces are quite alike. This beauty is rendered in a gorgeous jade green with a resist decoration..abstract slashes revealing the brown clay body underneath ...NICE! Accented with a buff color sleeve with raw hide laces..topped with a cork stop. Dimensions:10 3/4\" including the cork stop x 6 1/2\" wide. Signed on the verso...Martz...M 135. In excellent condition...looks to have had little if any use! A lovely addition to any Martz collection...to have one of these is to only want more! Smoke/Pet free. Thank you for looking!
