This is a vintage mid-century high quality oak bedside cabinet in the tradition of the Arts & Crafts movement.
Raised on shaped feet and in good proportion, the cabinet features a single cupboard below cubby hole.
The cabinet door is vertically delineated with blackened iron work in the form strap hinges, stud decoration and closing with a simple latch over shaped back plate. Twin gothic arch panels feature in the door fronts with the reciprocating arch form repeating in the upper rail.
Pleasingly heavy and crafted to last a lifetime in 1\" thick solid oak of the best quality, the choice cuts of timber display beautifully with wisps of medullary rays shining through the oiled finish.
A stunning piece in the Liberty / Heals taste, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
