from the Hanna Barbera TV Show Mighty Mightor which ran on tv during the late 1960s

Mighty Mightoris an animated series set in prehistoric times from the Hanna-Barbara cartoon factory. A teenaged caveman named Tor was on a hunting trip with his pet dinosaur Tog when he came across an old man whom he rescues. In gratitude, he gives Tor a club which, when raised to the sky, turns him into superhero Mightor. Tor is constantly called upon to protect the people of his village from an endless parade of super-evildoers.

These approximately eight minute stories were presented as segments of the CBS seriesMoby Dick and Mighty Mightor. Each half-hour program opened and closed with a Mightor adventure and sandwiched in the middle was a Moby Dick story.
