This handsome cabinet is a miniature and is made of Dutch Silver. Stamped on each of the drawers is the Dolphin. This mark was used from 1859 to 1893. It indicates that the silver is below the .833 dutch silver. The are two letters for the maker\'s mark ,but they are indicsypherable. There is the rampant lion within the shield. The dolphin on the reverse side of the cabinet is stamped with a flayg with a cross on it. There is the upper case letter D within a square. There is also the uppercase letter S which is not in a circle. The Encylopedia of Silver on the Internet shows all the date letterswithin acircle. The drawers are removable and the cabinet doors are on hinges. The cabinet is in excellent condition free of any damage or repairs. The cabinet stands 5-3/8 inches in height and is 3-5/8 inches wide. And is 1-3/4 inches deep. The weight is 9.77 Troy ounces
