Artisan Porcelain Flapper Girl Character

One of a Kind 1:12 Vintage Dollhouse Doll Child

Adorable artisan crafted, hand painted female child dollhouse doll, lovingly made by hand by a miniature artisan, I cannot find any markings but whoever it is, is certainly talented. Vintage, made in England. This sweet little girl is dressed in the fashions of the 1920\'s Flapper era. She measures 3 3/4\" tall. A young girl character, she has a fully porcelain bisque jointed body, with joints at the shoulders and hips. Her legs have ribbled knee socks painted white with blue stripes at the top, and black strappy heeled shoes. Hand painted with blue eyes, closed red heart-shaped lips, flushed cheeks and single stroke eyebrows. Wigged with a brunette shoulder-length cropped bob, with a side part. She is dressed in a handmade Old Fashioned costume, consisting of a sage green heavy linen drop-waisted dress with short sleeves, creamy white ribbon waist sash and matching lace bib collar. This little lass would make a great addition to a winter or Christmastime themed miniature estate, room box or diorama.

This miniature dollhousedollbelonged to someone who loved miniatures. This is a unique collection of over 400 pieces. Left in the care of her daughters after her passing, our hope is to help each piece find a new forever home.
