This is a wonderful vintage miniature enamelled painting. I have a few of these, and have spent ages researching them, and have come up with nothing, except that they may be Russian. The frame tests positive for Silver.

It is round in oval in shape, with a beautiful hand enamelled plaque, depicting a finely detailed Madonna and Child. It has a Silver edge, and a little stand at the back.

It is in excellent condition, and measures 1 and a 1/2 inches long.

Now a little information about postage.

Most jewellery items come in new black cardboard or plastic jewellery boxes, with white wadding, and bubble wrap, for extra safety. These are then sent in jiffy bags, so all items should be very secure. The only exceptions to this are more delicate items, glass, china etc., that need added protection. These are sent in solid jewellery boxes, sometimes used, but always in very good condition. If you want an item for a present, and need a special box, do let me know, as I can normally find something appropriate to send it in. My standard UK postal charge of £2.20 covers the cost of postage, box, jiffy bag, bubble wrap etc. I am having to revise my postage rates for International Postage, as Royal Mail increased the rates from April 2014, but do remember, as always, I am happy to combine postage on any items that are paid for at the same time.
