You are offerding on a pristine Montblanc Meisterstuck No149 in precious resin with an 18c fine point nib(18k gold) and estimated manufacture between 1965 to 1970. The pen is in almost newcondition with novisible signs of wear to the naked eye. The pen has been inked(black Montblanc ink) and tested and the plunger works perfect. The following characteristics confirm the manufacture date based on the included dating chart photo:
-The feed is round ebonite with grooved face.-The nib is tri-color 18C.-The barrel is a single barrel construction.-The piston mechanism/filler threads is friction fit, plastic threads.-The "U" in Meisterstuck has an "umlaut".-Lastly the pen was given as a gift to my grandfather in 1970(confirmed) so can not be newer.
I am offering a 14 day examination period, buyer may return the pen within that period and pay the return shipping. The actual pen cost will be refunded, not the outbound shipping cost. Please insure the return for at least $750, if lost ordamaged in transit it is the buyers problem not mine. Buyer may ink the pen to test it but must use black ink, if a different color is used then there will be a $25 restocking fee to cover cleaning the ink out. Lastly, the pen will be examined carefully upon return and any signs of mishandling or part removal will void the refund...in other words...do not disassemble the pen!
