This is a sheet of twenty (20)mint never-hinged $1.00 US commemorative stamps, Scott Catalog number 2590. Thestamp was originally designed for possible use in 1869 as a 30 cent denominationand is based on John Trumbull’s painting, TheSurrender of General Burgoyne at Saratoga. Although created, it was neverissued. The stamp was issued on May 5, 1994, in New York, New Yok and wasprinted by Stamp Venturers.
