Gorgeous Bone China Tureen / Vegetable Dish, with cover, from Minton\'s renowned Haddon Hall Green series, designed by John Wadsworth.

Thomas Minton founded his potterycirca 1793, in Stoke-on-Trent, England, the heart of The Potteries. Herbert, his son, succeeded his father as head of the companyand was responsible for the development and reputation of the firm. In 1892, Minton began production of bone china, influenced by the French \'Sevres\' And the rest is history!

The classic and exotic floral designof Haddon Hall porcelain is based on the wonderful tapestries which hang at Haddon Hall, the stunning English Tudor house, situated in thebeautiful Peak District National Park in Derbyshire. The footing, handles andscalloped edge of the gently fluted tureen baseand exquisite lid finialare finished in Apple Green trim.

The Tureen and Cover are in excellent condition, 1st Quality, with no chips, cracks or crazing and produces that wonderfully satisfying Ping.

The Tureen measures 13.25/33.3cms long and 5.75\"/14.5cms high, to the top of the finial.
