Minton Hand Painted Yellow Fish Maroon Gold Encrusted Greek Key Butter Pat 1884Absolutely stunning & rare porcelain butter pat. Beautifully decorated with a hand painted yellow fish in the center with seaweed. With a maroon border with gold encrusted medallions with white enamel jewel in the center and a band of gold encrustation in a Greek key pattern. Marked on the bottom with a crown over a globe with the word Mintons. Also marked with an impressed date code (partially hidden under the mark) over Mintons. The date code is for 1884. Also has a hand written pattern number in red, but it is partially worn off. I believe it may be G 4503.Has overall crazing, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures 3 1/4\" wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the piece.
