Black rubber, circa earliest 1940s.
Made in West Germany.
Barrel has an issue - look at the bottom.CAP:
Cap has a glossy rubber black body with a mat surface top.
The top has a small white snowflake at the center.
Two gold rings are at the bottom of the cap.
Gold plated clip is in very good condition.
Cap has two ventilation holes from opposite sides.
\"MONT W BLANC\" is still available on the cap.
Top\'s thread greased, so the cap can be easily disassembled.
Cap has a few 1-2 mm scratches at the very bottom part, attributed to the age.
Mat cap has no scratches. Snowflake holds well.
Overall condition of the cap is \"excellent\".

-clip 38mm.

-diam (at the bottom part) 13.3mm.
-white snowflake 6 mm.NIB:
Nib has \"Monte Rosa\" inscription. Apparently was changed by the previous owner.
Looks like it\'s \"F\"-type. Maybe it was gold plated. I\'m not sure, as I cannot take it out from a holder.
But through two apertures I can see yellow color metal. But I\'m not for 100% sure.
Feed is in apparently good condition.
I never get to disassemble the front section - nib, feed and feed holder.
Overall condition of this part is \"excellent\". BLIND CAP:
Blind cap is in excellent condition. Mat surface.
Has an inscription \"EF\".
Thread is intact. TELESCOPING PISTON:
Mechanism unscrewed from barrel, greased. Works outstanding.
Fully extended 77mm.
Fully retracted 41mm.
Seal replaced. Washer placed back.
Holds well the water inside of the barrel. I didn\'t checked the same with the ink.
Mechanism still has a visible inscription \"D.R.P. 652405\".
The holder has a mat brown color. I was a first person who unscrewed it from a barrel.BARREL:
All three threads are clear of ink remains, greased and work as it should be.
Barrel has two visible cracks (11 mm. & 12 mm.) at the lower part and 3-5 small cracks (4-5 mm) visible only while disassembled.
It\'s a result of my disassembling :-(( Shame on me!
The front and central parts are free of any cracks.
The ink window is light yellow-green color.
Overall length 51.7mm.
Diam at the widest part 12mm.
Barrel has some minor signs of use, but free of heavy scratches.
The internal surface of the barrel (where piston moves) is free of scratches and is in outstanding condition.
Almost whole piston is visible through the barrel, you can see how it moves there.
In-spite two cracks at the lower part of the barrel, the pen holds water.
The seal cover the cracks in about 5mm. Means the ink will not touch the cracks.Fully Working, ready to write!
Overall length 117.7mm.
Nice old pen for your collection! Over 70 years old !!
