*This Montblanc Writers Limited Edition Edgar Allen Poe fountain pen is dark, gorgeous and in beautiful condition.It has only been lightly used and very well taken care of.

*Every single detail of this pen is devoted to Edgar Allen Poe and his mysterious reputation.

*The dark-midnight blue marbling effect that makes up the cap and barrel is absolutely beautiful. Victorian ornamentation decorates the gold-plated ring under the cap and his signature is engraved in gold just below that.

*The nib is 18k and has a delicate engraving of a raven from Poe\'s most famous work.

*The Montblanc website lists that the launch was in 1998 and 14,000 fountain pens were made. 08047 / 17,000 is discretely engraved at the top of the cap.
