Important: This pen is not a regular 164 size Montblanc ballpoint pen and does not use the regular 164 Montblanc refills. Pen is around 4.25\" long and uses a proprietary Montblanc small pen refill. This is like a mini classique.I purchased this new on June 17, 2010 at the Montblanc Boutique located at the famous Friedrichstrasse in Berlin, Germany. See the last picture for a scanned copy of the receipt. Picture 7 shows the service booklet with the model, serial number and date of purchase listed along with the official store stamp. I paid USD $300.87. At that time it sold here in the US for around $350.00. Now the price new is around $375.00.
The pen will come with everything you see in the pictures. Shopping bag, special collectors Mozart box with CD (this is not available any more and the new pens now come in a standard box) store stamped service and warranty card and a copy of the scanned purchase receipt. I also have the white sleeve that goes over the Mozart box.
I will also include the Pacific Blue refills you see. There is one refill in the pen and 2 unused in the box. The only thing is the Best before date is Sept 2014. They still work but I do not know for how long.
Pen is used but still in good condition. I have had it for over 6 years. It has never left my house because I was afraid to lose it. I lost another one of these and this was the replacement. Germany and the serial number BU1180816 is stamped on the clip and it matches the warranty card. The date on the warranty card matches the date on the receipt. Pix is stamped behind the clip and Montblanc Meisterstuck on the center ring.
I recently noticed the serial number is not on the Mozart box. The box is from 08/09 and has the model and description (see pictures 3 and 4) I see a number, KT128198. I am not sure if the KT# is a serial number or not. If it is a serial # then the box got swapped. The sales person may have given me the wrong box or I may have in error swapped the box with the pen I lost. When I returned from Germany I had sold the lost pen Mozart box here on . I never paid attention to the numbers on the box till now.
As I said before this pen is used but it is the real deal. If you are looking for a brand new Mozart then this is not it. I noticed some are selling this model as new but the box is stamped from 2005 or 2007. I find it hard to believe a brand new Mozart pen has been sitting around in a store unused for 10 years. You can have confidence buying this from me. I have been here on for nearly 17 years and I am the only one showing proof of original purchase.
