Montblanc’s Meistertuck 149 Fountain Pen became the mostcelebrated writing instrument of all time, the ultimate symbol for writingculture, and a style icon for perfect, timeless design. It remains the mostrecognizable and stylish pen in the world.

Thispen is in excellent condition, hardly used, genuine Montblanc Meisterstuck No.149 Fountain Pen. It was purchaseda long time agoand given as a gift. It hassat in the bottom of a drawer and used only a few times. We discarded the box decades ago, but we dohave the soft polishing cloth that came with the pen (in photos).

18K two-toneyellow gold and rhodium handcrafted 750 Nib, engraved: “4810, 18k, Montblanc, 750”. This elegant pen is made of deep blackprecious resin with gold plated details.There are two tiny nicks on the cap ring and hairline scratches on the barrel,only visible under a magnifying glass.

The cap clip ring has no serial number(pre-1991). “Germany” is etched on thetop cap ring, and “Montblanc MeisterstuckNo. 149” is etched in the center triple cap ring. It is has a larger piston than other models,and uses bottled ink only. The 149 Model -- with its larger barrel and larger ink reserve -- is one of the best pens produced by Montblanc. Itis large but light for its size and very comfortable to hold. This is a jewel.
