The Montegrappa Privilege Deco is a very traditional design that was introduced during the last few years of the original Aquila family ownership of the company that was continued and reissued while Montegrappa was part of the Richemont Group.

Montegrappa Privilege Deco small 925 Sterling Silver & Pearl Grey Resin Ballpoint Pen Model# ISPSPBSJ. This luxurious Italian pen is made of 925 Sterling Silver & Pearl Grey Resin Celluloid. Stamped 925 Silver. This is a Ballpoint pen that writes in black ink with a medium point. The length of the pen is 5.2".

This pen from Montegrappa\'s Privilege Deco collection has a burnished look that is tasteful and tantalizing.

Celluloid, a material that was widely used in the last century and derived from the cellulose in cotton, was always difficult (and dangerous!) to manufacture, but no modern resin materials have ever managed to replicate the feel of celluloid. It was inevitable therefore that celluloid would make a comeback, but it\'s high cost has restricted it\'s use to only the best quality pens.
