For sale we have this stunning monumental heavy gauge Indian silver table centre by famous Madras colonial silversmiths Peter Nicholas Orr, c.1860.The table centre is profusely decorated in high relief with panels of figures and animals with floral and arabesque borders, figural and animal supports and four figural supports to the octagonal base.The edge of the base is stamped ‘ORR SILVER 23’.The table centre is in fantastic condition however the bowl at the top is very slightly bent on its central support but this could easily be rectified.The table centre stands 11 inches tall and weighs 32.1 ounces.All items are as described, most of the items I sell are antique and I try to mention any imperfections.
