Welcome!

Nicholas Gambino was from the Morongo band of Mission Indians in CA, a federally recognized tribe. The reservation is located in California at the base of the Gorgonio and San Jacinto mountains. Nicholas Gambino began actively silversmithing in 1971, a silversmith at the famous White Hogan. White Hogan changed the face of Native American jewelry because of their innovative designs and this stunning ring is a great example. It\'s a beautiful design indeed with a wonderful inset of ironwood in the center. The piece is hallmarked with the White Hogan mark, and has Nicholas Gambino\'s NG hallmark as well. Ironwood was used by some of the best silversmiths during a period of time: Charles Loloma and Preston Monongye\'s pieces come to my mind but many used it. In this piece it\'s used in a simple and elegant way. This stunning piece is in excellent vintage and collectible condition. Anything from White Hogan has intrinsic collectible value. The ring is size 11 or a tad larger. It is hard to get the exact size on the mandrel and there,  it\'s an 11. The face measures Face: 7/8\" )2.22 cm) x 1/4\" (0.64 cm).

This is a dramatically beautiful piece. It can be stacked or can be worn alone. I like it best alone. It\'s so stunning! It was purchased directly from the owners of White Hogan and it\'s an old piece. It personifies the issues that made White Hogan so important, in its perfection of design.

I am sincerely committed to ongoing accuracy.
