This scarce pen is the only example I\'vehad of a full sized, allsterling silver overlay (on hard rubber)Morrison pen. The pen is a 5-3/16\" long and is decorated all over with a chased wave pattern which almost seems like a repousse pattern with slight relief on the unlined portion of the wave. Marked MORRISON with an LM within a wreath on the lever and STERLING SILVER at the top of the barrel overlay. I\'ve had this pen for many years and note that the lever andspring clipdo not tarnish like therest of the pen, yet are quite bright and likely plated with a material like Vanadium which I know that Morrison used on some of their pens. The pen is a lever filler with a good sac that takes up ink.There are no external flaws with the exception of minor denting around and on the top of the cap. The cap opening is not perfectly rounded and hence fits snugly (but not overly so)over the barrel.One minor scratch on the section. The nib is a replacement 14KEHCO in an oval (EGGINS & HAMBLER of Newark, NJ). It looks like it may have had some straightening at some point, but is now straight, good iridium, probably a fine width and modest flexibility. Overall a beautiful pen.
