He was a prominent member of the Society, an early elder in Glasgow.
He was a traveling speaker for the Society and often was featured in the
early bible students conventions.
But what heis mostremembered for ishiswork with Russell
on the theory regarding the Great Pyramids of Egypt.
Theylikemany in those days believed, that the pyramid
had spiritual significance.
C.T. Russell even devoted aportion of the Studies in the Scriptures to this idea!

Edgar\'swork appeared in the society\'s publications,
as well as a few of his ownbooks.
Since Edgar published ithimself, few were made, and so few survive.
