I\'m offering a stunning bracelet, made by Kevin Yazzie, Navajo, signed by the artist who in this effort, proves he has become a great master. This is one the most beautiful bracelets I\'ve seen. It is a modernistic effect but it\'s also classic in perfection. Organic in concept. Like all great sculpture you can appreciate it from all angles, every single one. It\'s the kind of piece that I want to look at all day long and never tire of. It is not only cast in the most spectacular and special sculptural design but it sports a fabulous fossil of velociraptor bone. I have never seen anything like it but it\'s beautiful and Kevin tells me that is what it is. I helped design this because I felt that fossil was the right piece for this bracelet, in shape and cut and concept; it also has a colored texture that is dark blood red or brown and gray and works perfectly with the texture of the tufa cast silver. One can wear it either way, with the bone facing outward or inward and it looks great, always making a strong statement of timeless beauty. Evocative of the long distant past and also a futuristic and part of the timeless mystery of this Navajo masterpiece. It has become my signature bracelet and I believe it will become yours.

I will include the tufa carving with the bracelet. It\'s broken and of course can\'t be used again but it is a bonus!

The dimensions are: internal length of silver alone is 5-3/4\", the gap is 1-1/4\" and the total is 7\". No cast work is adjustable except possibly by a jeweler. I wouldn\'t try. It\'s a tiny bit large for me so I just wear it a little higher on my arm. I\'m tending to wear it with the bone facing inward. That is my current \"look.\"This is tufa cast so it\'s very dense and very heavy, weighing a huge 128.3 grams. Yes! The width is 1-7/16\" at the center for the silver and extends to 2\" at the center with the set raptor, tapering to a 1/2\" width at the terminals for comfort. This is one of the most comfortable bracelets I\'ve owned, as smooth as silk to wear, contrasting with the myriad of angles on its face. Also contrasting with the tufa cast, textured and angular surface, we have the top and bottom, mirror like in its finish, and that contrast is what creates the organic beauty of this object of art. I wonder what fan of Jurassic Park movies or of the study of dinosaurs wouldn\'t feel awe at owning a piece of dinosaur fossil? Excellent vintage, wearable and collectible condition, very beautiful bracelet. This was extremely painstaking to create by the artist, and it just clicks right into place simply and cleanly, finding a place in your heart.

Kevin Yazzie lives on a Navajo Reservation in Tohatchi NM and has studied tufa casting with one of the masters in that art, for a relatively short time, but he has developed into a great talent as you can see from this work. He is a new and developing artist, but I think this piece evidences his genius. Tufa carvings can be used only one time; twice at the most, since the lava rock is fragile, so you have here a unique masterpiece.

I don\'t think you can do better for your collection than this astonishing, breathtaking, work of art.

International buyers pay actual shipping cost and are responsible for any customs fees their own countries may apply. It\'s less expensive and is tracked, but usually cannot be insured. To the UK and Canada, even First Class International can be used because it can be tracked to those countries. We can discuss it prior to purchase. I am no longer shipping to Italy and China. You can talk to me about this, especially if you are a prior customer.

When I include pages from published books in my listings it is in accordance with Fair Use Law, which permits the use of source material for discussion, reference, education and criticism.

Attributions on many of the old pieces of Native American jewelry are sometimes a moving target. All the books have errors, so in addition to counterchecking, I have developed some expertise over the years and I do care about getting it right, so as more information comes to light I update my listings and also get in touch with my previous buyers, to inform them of any changes in attributions. I am sincerely committed to ongoing accuracy.

I am sorry to say I can no longer recommend ATADA nor buying from their members with perhaps one exception, and retract my previous endorsement of the group.

I request payment by PayPal in three days, but planned in advance of purchase, alternate payment methods and time payments can be arranged.

Everything I sell comes from my personal collection or is something that I would include in my personal collection. Most pieces are museum worthy and gallery suitable, sold to you at great pricing. I vet every item carefully for quality and condition, and offer you the best. I want you to be able to rely on me for top quality, superb items that are often unique and rare examples of old antique vintage southwest, indian, native american and fine gold and gemstones, whether you\'re starting a collection or adding to one, or want something great to wear or gift. My goal is that all my buyers are delighted, that my special pieces find the right homes.
