BRAND NEW SEWING MACHINE HIGH QUALITY LUBRICANT IN AN APPLICATOR THAT WILL FIT INTO YOUR SINGER® FEATHERWEIGHT\'S MOTOR TUBES and SIMILAR MODEL MOTOR TUBES!!

**I have been preaching this message below in my Featherweight listings for years now**

\"I would advise to use the new odorless oil Singer makes and use new grease to lube gears, you can order a small tube of Singer gear lube on from another seller if you don\'t have a local sewing store. The old ones are not odorless . Never oil the motor, use grease (lube). Oil will migrate into the motor, when it gets into the electrical connections it will smoke and cause damage to your motor.
I have changed the motor lubricant that I use to one that is similar to the grease (lube) that Singer used for their motors that had held grease in tubes that were attached to the motor. After testing many types of grease, the one I chose has a better flow through the felt inside the tubes that makes contact with the armature shaft that need the lubricant. My new lube is made to higher standards and upgraded from 60 or 70 years ago.
Use Singer or other sewing machine oil, use their lube on gears on your older Singers only.
Buy my Motor Lube!

The problem with the tubes of motor lubricant sold for and by Singer® is that it is impossible to get the tip of the applicator to fit into a Featherweight\'s motor grease tubes. Also it is designed for the newer sewing machine\'s moving parts and metal gears on older models. The Singer plastic tube sits on top of the motor grease tubes and traps air inside of the grease fittings keeping lube from entering, therefore grease goes everywhere but into the motor. And as stated above, was not made for your older motors. I have solved that problem and now I am sharing it with you.

Color of lube may vary to light brown or tan.
You are buying a high quality, health safe motor lubricant (grease) that is compatible with any older lube in the motor. The applicator syringe is loaded with 5ml\'s or more, enough to last several years. Just pull off the applicator cover and lightly insert the tip into the bottom of motor tubes and slowly push the plunger down until you see the motor tubes fill up. Wipe off any excess from tubes. You are good to go for about one year of average machines use. Check tubes periodically. After you are done lubing pull the plunger back a bit. Store the applicator in a safe place. Applicators will vary in style, now will come with a plastic cover as shown below.
One last note...If your older Singer machine has been sitting around for years and has the old grease in the tubes. That grease may have to be removed as much as possible as it may have turned to a wax like substance, I use a cotton swab with the cotton removed and push it lightly into the tubes until most of the gunk is loosened and removed, Then reload with new grease, which will also help push out and soften the remains of old lube. All grease lubricants has additives in them to help thicken the oil, some of those additives will remain after oil has been slowly released, may have to repeat the cleaning process above.

Lube color may vary from photo it will be light tan in color.
The tips on the needles are blunt and flat so they cannot pierce skin. The needles are non-sterile. They may not and can not be used for injection or any medical purpose.
mis-use or damage caused by this product is buyers responsibility. It should not damage machine, the tubes have a small piece of felt like material at the bottom that releases grease as needed to motors armature shaft, that is what you are lubing, it turns the belt, Use care and keep it in a safe place away from children. Do not get in eyes and wash off your skin when finished. This is non-toxic  (for use on and small motors-not edible) lubricant. It\'s safe, but gotta write this anyway!

YOU CAN BUY LESS EXPENSIVE SINGER LUBRICANT, IT\'S NOT GOING TO WORK FOR YOUR 221, 222, 301 etc. MOTOR WHICH IS THE HEART OF YOUR MACHINE AND COSTLY TO REPLACE! Don\'t use Petroleum Jelly for your motor as many others claim to do..it will melt and run into your motor, it is too light weight..Don\'t use it!!
Why ruin an expensive motor just to save a few dollars??

You are going to love it! Thanks, Sue B.
