Very nice Autograph Signed Letter from the stock of well know CSA expert Trish Kauffman comes with her description and old pricing and being offered at very low opening offer:

X652 William E. \"Grumble\" Jones wartime autograph letter, signed. Headed \"Fairfax C.H., Va / Oct the 10th 1861\" to \"Dear Adam\" displaying only the steady concerns of the farmer (his estate was near Glade Springs Deport), despite being a newly elected Colonel to the 7th Virginia Cavalry after the 1\" Manassas Campaign. He advises lengthily on the care of his \'French vines...we lost our last crop by not pruning...in the fall,\" but also discusses fixing cisterns and a darn, burning cordwood for lime, putting a cornfield into wheat and evergreen or timothy, security orchards from livestock and getting paid for plank. He asks for a 5 gallon keg each of peach and apple butter. Bottom half of last leaf torn away, scattered light brown stains, but not greatly affecting signature. Scarce. $1,500.

Brig. Gen. William Edmonson \"Grumble Jones\" (1824-1864): \"Grumble Jones\" earned his nickname from Maj. Gen. J.E.B. Stuart—Jones was irascible and prone to complaining. However, Stuart respected him. Although he disliked \"Grumble Jones\", Stuart nevertheless called him \"the best outpost officer in the army.\' In the summer of 1864, Jones assumed command of the Confederate forces in the Upper Shenandoah Valley, and, while personally leading a charge at the Battle of Piedmont on June 5, 1864, he was killed in action.

Policy on certificates
Notice for that lots are being submitted for a certificate must be made and a copy of the request for certification must be mailed or emailed within 7 days. If the stamp is found to be bad I will refund both the cost of the stamp and the certificate. However, to avoid ridiculous situations, no items under $20 final offer price may be put on extension. No refunds will be made after 120 days unless a further extension is requested before the end of the 120 days. We accept APS, Foundation, PSE and Weiss certificates. No graded certificates accepted and encased stamps may not be returned under any circumstances. A certificate of no opinion is not grounds for returning a stamp.
