This item was purchased at the estate sale of a south-central PA collector and I have no provenance on it. I found one online that sold in 2004; it was part of a group of items formerly owned by Tex Cooper and this belt looks very similar and has the same markings as the one sold. You can find it by searching \"LOT OF 101 RANCH MATERIALS\". The belt is 2.75\" wide by 39.5\" long end-to-end and has 15 small and 15 large loops. It definitely shows signs of age, wear and some neglect, but it is still good enough for display-only purposes. The leather is pliable with lots of cracks (mostly surface), the large loops have been restitched, and a couple of the small loops need stitched as shown in photo #6. The \"WOS\" and \"101 RANCH\" marks (photo #2) are under the tongue. It is also marked with an \"H\" (hidden by the buckle) followed by the\"45\" that is visible in photo #3. There are a couple of areas that are fragile.......the leather is torn where the buckle attaches (photo #8) and there are major cracks on both ends near the loops (photos 8-12). The arrows in 10 & 12 note areas where the cracks are all the way through the leather. I am not guaranteeing this to be an authentic 101 Ranch or Tex Cooper item and I do not recommend it be used for anything other than display.
