A late-19th-C-mid-20th-C hand-sewn quilt authenticated by University of Nebraska\'s International Quilt Study Center Museum curator who notes the \"extravagant quilting plus the size... places it on the \'earlier side of the period\' from the late 19th-century to mid 20th-century.\" The pattern -- a variation of the traditional Pineapple patchwork pattern symbolizing abundance and good fortune -- is pre-1920\'s. All patchwork is perfectly executed with all squares in beautiful condition with subtle marks on 2 squares (difficult to see when quilt is unfurled; close-ups in composites). The rear is covered with intricate quilting. A tiny hole (1/4\") is at front-top; a few subtle marks on the rear are shown in composites. Quilt-dimensions are 92\" x 76\". Each pineapple block measures 16.5\" X 16.5.\" Green-edging between blocks is 1.5\" across. Scallops on quilt-edge measure 2.25\" from quilt to outer-edge. A magnificent piece of hand-done quilting from times past. Please study pictures and note quilt-measurements.
